Dear Folks,

Stephanie and I come to you with a specific request to take to the Lord in prayer.  We talked with Alison’s neurologist last night and she said that Alison’s second EEG had only slightly improved and she was concerned about the lasting neurological effects for our little girl.  She said Alison’s continued dependence on the oscillating ventilator and the high dosages of medicines were possibly hindering Alison’s neurological healing and could possibly cause additional trauma.  She recommended that we pray to the Lord that He would protect Alison’s little brain from further damage.  We would like to add an additional part to that prayer that the Lord would miraculously heal her little brain with His divine touch.

So please spend intense prayer for our daughter’s brain.

In addition, please continue to pray for her physical healing.  She needs a lot of red blood cells carrying high amounts of oxygen in her circulatory system to assist her physical and neurological healing.  We need for her to stand on her own as soon as the Lord will allow.  The doctors, specialists and nurses are doing an outstanding job for our little girl.  We are so grateful to them for their focus and love for our baby.  Yet, we need and desire for the Lord to step in and make His presence felt with His daughter in Christ.

We stand before you as a mom and dad who desperately love their daughter.  We fully trust and place our daughter before the Lord’s throne and ask for His mercy and healing.  We are still reminded that His ways are not our ways and His vision is eternal.  Alison belongs to the Lord before she belongs to us.  She is truly a gift from the Lord to our family.  We pray that the Lord will protect our daughter and make her whole.  We pray that His perfect will will be done.  We pray that we will follow and obey His will and stand in His perfect shadow.  He is the sovereign Lord who reigns on high.

Alison is and will remain our little princess regardless of how the Lord chooses to answer our prayer.  But we believe that He is going to grant us a miracle.  The Lord is clear that we should offer up our prayers and believe that He will hear them on high.  We believe and are asking for His divine intervention.  We request that you stand in the gap with us.  Our little Alison needs her Father to visit her and grant her a miracle of protection.

We love and appreciate you for what you are doing for our family, especially little Alison.  As an additional prayer, please pray for her grandparents.  This is the first grandchild for both our families and we all have yearned for little Alison.  This is extremely difficult for them.  Please lift them up to the Lord and ask that He grant them the peace that passes all understanding and the hope that our little Alison will be made whole.  From our family to yours, we truly thank you for your prayers.

Blessings to you,

Langston and Stephanie
